Day of the Deadddd is almost upon us 💀 Five days, 13+ artists and a whole lotta chaos on River Street. Just the way we like it!

From morbid karaoke to drag trivia, monster mash bingo to spooky kids craft, we’ve resurrected the lot. A little spooky, a lot of fun, something for the whole crew (big kids and little gremlins alike) 🕯️

Here’s the haunt 👻
💀 Wed 28 - Drag of the Dead Trivia, 7pm
🎤 Thu 29 - Monster Mash Musical Bingo 7pm, then Morbid Karaoke 9pm
🎸 Fri 30 - Colbey & Friends, 9pm
🎃 Sat 31 - The Lee Brothers 8pm + our annual Halloween Party 9pm (costumes on, prizes for best dressed, DJ in the b**r garden)
☀️ Sun 1 - live music, face painting + kids activities (and the groms eat free with an adult main)

He’s back from the dead 💀 (okay fine, he just lives up the road) but Colbey & Friends are haunting our stage next Friday for Day of the Dead, and we’re SO not normal about it.

One of our favourite local sons; surfer, songwriter, certified legend ~ serving up his hazy, sun-soaked indie-roots to raise a few spirits (and maybe the dead while he’s at it). The kind of set you feel in ya bones 🦴🎸

Someone we know and bloody lurve, playing the pub we all love. Come get amongst it, ya ghouls.

Word on the street? Ballina’s officially a line dancing town now. Sorry Big Prawn, you’ve been dethroned 🦐👢

Line dancing is BACK at the Aussie this weekend and we’ve bumped the kick-off to a cheeky new 5pm start (more time to boot-scoot, more time for a cold one 🍻). No experience? No worries. We’ll have you two-steppin’ like a local before your first drink’s gone.

And when the boots come off, DJ Reflex and Jordy Corn take over from 9pm to keep the vibes rolling 🎧 Love to see it!

BALLINA we’re so damn excited for this! 100 years in the making (would you believe it?!) and we’re going out loud 💥

Don’t miss The Colliflowers live on stage at our official 100th Birthday bash 🎸 Feel-good, anthemic indie-rock from right up the road in the Northern Rivers - these guys bring the high-energy every single time.

Free, all welcome, and there’s a tonne of activities across 3 days from Friday November 20 to Sunday the 22nd for all ages (because one day is not enough).

Over 13 artists hitting the stage across 3 mega days, fun for the entire family and some of the best home grown talent hitting the stage. How good!

Okay, we’ll be honest, this is our favourite time of year 🧡🎃

There’s just something about Day of the Dead at the Aussie. The costumes, the colour, Spring warming up the b**r garden and the whole town turning up and turning it on together. We love our local, we love this community, and getting to throw this festival again for you lot is genuinely one of the best parts of our year.

Five days. One big celebration of music, mischief and life.
We’ve got Drag of the Dead Trivia with the one and only itsTealyxo (an absolute MUST, trust us), Monster Mash Musical Bingo that’s going to be chaos in the best way, Morbid Karaoke, live music every night, and a whole lot going on for the little ones too - face painting, kids activities, and groms eat free on the Sunday when the bigger kids (aka parents) eat too!

And of course, we’ll be pumping out tacos and margaritas all day and night, because what’s a fiesta without them 🌮🍹

Then there’s Halloween on the Saturday. Our annual party, costumes on, prizes for best dressed, DJ in the b**r garden and things getting a little freaky on the dance floor. You know the drill 💀

We genuinely can’t wait to do this with you all again! Vamos amigos - round up your people, dust off a costume, and come celebrate with us.

2 WEEKS TO GO 🤠 YEEHAW!

Ballina’s biggest and most loved line dance is BACK on Saturday 24 October, and the countdown is officially on. Boots on, floor full, expert instructors leading every step (thanks TK Line Dance!) - no experience needed, just good vibes and great company.

Themed cocktails. Prizes and a whole lot of fun for all ages! This is the one everyone’s talking about. Grab your crew and get ready to kick up your heels 💥 Can’t wait to see you out there again.
