Direct access to Kellys Beach sets Don Pancho apart from many other Bargara resorts. Walks along the beautiful Kelly's beach or the esplanade or a game of golf at Bargara golf course just across the road are some of what's on offer. Its older Mediterranean styling is well maintained by very friendly staff and comes with many mod cons, including a covered BBQ area . You may be lucky enough to spot turtle-laying or egg-hatching right in front of the resort, but don’t stress if that doesn’t happen; Mon Repos is close by, is inexpensive and offers much more of a chance.

WOW! Just WOW! Where do we even begin? ❤️

We are currently staying in Unit 43 at Don Pancho Beach Resort, and what an absolutely incredible experience it has been!

The moment you step out onto the balcony, you are greeted by the most breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the ocean. The sound of the waves, the beautiful sea breeze and that endless stretch of coastline are simply magical. Honestly, you could sit here for hours just taking it all in. It is absolutely priceless!

Our unit is beautifully clean, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. It genuinely feels like a home away from home.

But what makes this place even more special to us is its wonderful old-fashioned charm. Built in 1974, Don Pancho takes you on a beautiful journey back in time. As proud Gen X babies, we absolutely LOVE that nostalgic feeling! There's something so comforting about a place that has held onto its character and history rather than trying to become something it's not. It brings back memories of simpler times, and that feeling is worth more than money could ever buy.

The staff are absolutely beautiful, welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Don Pancho Beach Resort is proof that you don't need modern luxury to experience something truly special. Sometimes it's the character, the atmosphere, the memories and those million-dollar ocean views that make a holiday unforgettable.

We are absolutely loving our stay and feel so fortunate to be enjoying this beautiful little piece of Bargara.

✨The 3 Stages of swimming ✨First a quick dip in the beautiful salty ocean . Second - a refreshing shower to wash off the salt and sand and the third and final stage - a relaxing dip in the mineralised pool to soak those muscles. ✨Bundaberg Botanic Gardens✨ What a special place this is for everyone to explore ! There is so much to see and learn and do in the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens but Fairymead House is definately the highlight. There is so much history attached to this beautiful Heritage Registered property that it’s too much to put in one post. You will have to go and pay this Sugar History Museum a visit when you stay with us at the resort , you will not regret it. You can also learn the history of Bert Hinkler at the Hinkler Aviation Museum and a lot more! Ask us at reception for all the details😊

✨Family Outings✨ School holidays are here! If you’re looking for some ‘family friendly’ things to do that don’t cost a fortune then here are some ideas. Christsen Park is a gem 💎 this lovely, well maintained park offers BBQ areas, playgrounds , ample undercover seating and the best part it’s only a few minutes walk to Kelly’s Basin. You can even walk to this park from our Resort. Elliot Heads is also a beautiful little spot , with lots of gorgeous water holes to swim in and the Causeway🤗 All these places are not far from the Resort and all free😊Ask us at reception for more details and recommended places🤗
