🔥 BE PREPARED THIS SPRING AND SUMMER 🔥

Fire bans can be placed on Flanagan Reserve at any time, especially during hot, dry or windy weather.

Please come prepared with a bucket or suitable container that can be filled with water and kept close to your campfire when fires are permitted. Also bring another cooking option, such as a gas cooker, to use during fire restrictions.

When entering Flanagan Reserve, please observe our signs and slow down on all roads throughout the reserve. Vehicles must travel at a slow walking pace to protect our children and wildlife and help reduce dust.

If you are heading our way, or know someone who is, please share this post with them so everyone arrives prepared. 🏕️🔥

💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

A big Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures out there.

🌿 A BIG THANK YOU FROM FLANAGAN RESERVE 🌿

The weekend isn’t over yet, but we just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has come out and stayed with us this weekend. ❤️

The weather has really turned it on and it’s been great seeing everyone relaxing and enjoying Flanagan Reserve. The river has been beautiful and our platypus have been very active, keeping everyone entertained. Trying to get a photo of them is the fun part though 😂📸 — just when you think you’ve got the perfect shot, under they go!

Our tractor has hardly stopped all weekend either 🚜. Plenty of firewood has been going out, with campers making the most of having an open fire. There have been camp ovens cooking, fires burning and lots of people just sitting around having a yarn, sharing a few laughs and enjoying being away from the everyday rush. 🔥🏕️

That’s what we love about weekends like this — nothing fancy, just good people, a warm fire, the river, wildlife and time to slow down and enjoy where you are.

Thank you again to everyone who has spent their weekend with us. We really appreciate you choosing Flanagan Reserve Bush Camping and hope you’ve made some great memories while you’ve been here. ❤️
