🦡💚 Happy World Wombat Day! 💚🦡

To celebrate, we'd like to acknowledge the real owners of Southern Ocean Tourist Park... the wombats. We're just lucky enough to stay here too. 😅

The wombat population around the park is booming at the moment, and they're doing an excellent job of keeping our staff on their toes. It's not unusual to spot a wombat (or two... or ten!) wandering around the grounds, especially in the evenings.

One of the things we love most about the park is sharing this beautiful slice of Beachport with the local wildlife. Watching these laid-back locals go about their day is all part of the experience when you stay with us.

If you're visiting soon, keep an eye out, give them plenty of space, and enjoy the privilege of sharing the park with some of Beachport's most beloved residents. 🦡🌿
