From raising two boys alongside running a motel, to watching them grow into the young men they are today… there’s been a whole lot of life lived within these Tea House walls over the past 20 years.

This photo means a little more to us than simply holding an award.

For the past 20 years, our boys have grown up alongside us at Tea House. They’ve seen the long days, early mornings, challenges & celebrations, and they’ve rolled up their sleeves and helped out plenty of times along the way too.

We hope we’ve shown them a few things…

• Work hard, show up & take pride in what you do.

• People come first. Look after your customers, your team & your community.

• Success takes consistency, care & plenty of hard work.

• Never be too important to roll up your sleeves & do what needs doing.

Now, watching them forge their own paths & excel in their chosen careers and lives, we can see those lessons have stuck. That makes us incredibly proud.

To stand together 20 years later & be recognised with the Customer Focus Award makes this photo pretty special.

Not just because of what we’ve achieved in business, but because our boys have been part of the journey & become young men we couldn’t be prouder of.

We reckon these 20 years have given us something far more valuable than an award. 🏆

Good news: our team works exceptionally well under pressure.

Bad news: apparently absolutely EVERYTHING at Tea House is considered essential. 😂🔥

Brent saving the hairdryer… the bald man saved the hairdryer?!?! We have questions. 🤦‍♀️ 🧑🏼‍🦲

Tamara saving the toilet paper. Honestly, fair. 🧻 😷

Kristin making sure we’ve still got somewhere to sit. 🪑✅

Jody grabbing the iron & ironing board because apparently presentation still matters during an emergency. 😂 👔

Holly dropped the amenities, but thankfully NOT the w**e. Priorities. 🍷 🧼

And just when we thought everyone was safely accounted for… Brent strolls out protecting the tea, coffee, sugar & biscuits while casually finishing the previous guests’ Maxibons.🍦😂

Everyone understood the assignment. Just differently. 🔥😂

Own a little piece of Bendigo history & support a pretty wonderful cause while you’re at it. 🚋💛

Bendigo Tramways has transformed a section of the original 1903 Pall Mall tram track into just 300 unique collector pieces as part of Tracks For Care. 🫶🏻

That’s 122 years of Bendigo history, literally!!

Even better, all proceeds are supporting the Bendigo Health Foundation.

We love seeing pieces of our city’s history given a new life, especially when they’re helping support our community at the same time.

A very special little piece of Bendigo to own. 🚋 🫶🏻
