Update on Brock from HTR Racing! Over the last two days he has competed in the grueling Tatts Finke Desert Race in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Prologue start position 143/ 635 bikes with a time 6:18.601.

Day one Alice Springs to Finke 223kms.
Results- outright 68/ 599 bikes in a time of 2 hours 42 minutes and 8th in his class of 33 bikes.

Day two Finke to Alice Springs 223kms.
Results - outright 61/ 556 bikes in a time of 2 hours and 42 minutes. 5th in his class of 25 bikes.

Brock ended up in 61st place overall and 5th in the 250cc four stroke class.

115 bikes did not finish the race, and one man lost his life out on the track. The track was brutal and unforgiving, numerous crashes serious and critical injuries, but this young man made it through with a big get off and two broken toes, his story to tell.

He teammate Campbell Hall came second outright! Amazing job! 🏍️

What a sad time for the Berkeley community! We wish them well in their future endeavours and they will be missed. 😊

After 19 wonderful years, the time has come for us to close the doors of Berkeley Cakes & Pies.

Our final day of trade will be 28th June, and while this decision has not been an easy one, we have chosen to step into semi-retirement and spend more time with our family and loved ones.

Looking back over the past 19 years, we feel incredibly grateful for the support, friendship, and loyalty of our customers. Many of you have been with us from the very beginning, and it has been our privilege to be part of your celebrations, family gatherings, milestones, and everyday moments.

What started as a bakery became so much more than a business. It became a community. We have shared countless conversations, laughs, and memories with people who walked through our doors as customers and became friends.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful staff members who have been part of the Berkeley Cakes & Pies family over the years. Your hard work, dedication, loyalty, and friendship have helped make this business what it is today. We have been incredibly fortunate to work alongside such caring and committed people, and we are truly grateful for everything you have contributed throughout the years.

To our customers, thank you for your unwavering support and loyalty. Your encouragement and kindness have meant the world to us and have made this journey more rewarding than we could ever have imagined.

As we close this chapter, our hearts are full of gratitude and appreciation for the community that has supported us for nearly two decades.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you, and thank you for being part of our story. We hope to see you before our last day of trading on the 28th June.
