The cottage has amazing views over green pastures to
the mountains, and is located close to beaches, wineries, and the Shoalhaven River. It's an ideal place for those seeking a destination for relaxation whilst having award winning restaurants and wineries nearby. Branwens Retreat is a picturesque cottage (130 sqm) offering comfortable accommodation, a country ambience, some vintage touches and a few little luxuries. The house is set on a small rural acreage in the parish of Coolangatta, near the villages of Shoalhaven Heads and Berry. Beautiful beaches, bush walks, wineries and quaint historical villages are all within a short drive. We are located at the base of Coolangatta Mountain within 10 minutes to wonderful surf beaches, the historical township of Berry and some great award winning restaurants and wineries. Further afield you will find Whale Watching and Dolphin Cruises and our National Marine Park- Jervis Bay (1/2 hour), magnificent mountains and rainforest valleys full of interesting bush walks. The cottage is self-catering, although for those who book direct with us we supply breakfast ingredients to get you started. The full kitchen is well supplied with appliances to help you cook up a storm. An open plan living area and wide verandas mean you can soak up the rural scenery at any time of day and in all weathers. The 5 -person outdoor spa hot tub on the patio is an ideal spot to take in the stunning sunsets as you sip your champagne. On the ground floor the Lavender Room has an antique cast iron double bed and is ideal for a couple or single. Upstairs the 40 sqm Rose Room has a queen bed and threes singles (including two dormer day beds) . Suitable for a couple or singles happy to share. Quality bedlinen and bathroom towels are included but we ask you to bring beach towels if you would like to use the outdoor hot tub. Location

The cottage is totally self-contained and located within in it's own gardens and on our 5-acre property Paradwys (welsh for paradise). We are also located on the property (across the orchard) in our hand-puddled mud-brick house. There are no shared facilities other than wonderful rural views, frog choruses, spectacular sunsets, beautiful starlit nights and clean fresh air. Guest interaction
We like to welcome guests on arrival and provide them with any local information that may need about shops, restaurant, wineries etc. We are on hand if there are any problems but the guest cottage is totally separate to our own dwelling, has its own driveway, gardens and we respect guests privacy. Country outlook across green dairy pastures towards mountain ridges -rural but not remote. Good access to beaches, shops and quaint towns and villages within 10 - 15 minutes but located in a relatively hidden valley, with a few friendly neighbours on similar 5 acre properties. Getting around
