If you haven’t already heard, there’s something pretty special happening at the Southern this month thanks to Pink Up Berry 💗
Let’s be real for a sec. Nearly all of us know someone who’s heard the words “it’s cancer”. A mum, a sister, a mate, someone we see at the bar every week. And when that day comes, it’s a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse who walks in beside them and doesn’t leave. That’s who we’re doing this for.
On Sunday 25 October we’re throwing Pink Sunday, and $25 from every ticket goes straight to the McGrath Foundation. Not just “proceeds”, $25 from every single ticket, to the nurses who show up when it matters most 🎗️

A pink rosé or bubbles on us when you walk in, live music from 12, the pub dressed up in pink, and a proper Sunday roast by Damo and Josie from il locale (If you know, you know). If you’ve been meaning to give our kitchen a go, this is the Sunday to do it. Come see for yourself, and do a genuinely good thing while you’re at it.
PLUS local legends and friends Sara Dining are helping pay it forward with raffle prizes up to $1,000 in value, with all raffle ticket sales going to the foundation. Honestly, we’re proud of this little town for digging deep 💞
