This weekend Betty is not booked so I am having a holiday at The Croft - Base camp for Horse Trax Oz Trail Riding adventures.

It's great. My dogs are welcomed and feel right at home. I get to keep an eye on my horses and I have no housework or jobs to do.

Relaxing time ahead before holiday season! Might even pop up to Benarkin General Store again for a coffee. Only 5km up the road.

It is Spring and dry again but we have fun keeping things green.

The campgrounds getting a drink ready for visitors coming for the Blackbutt Avocado Festival next weekend.

If only the animals could use this as food.

One of the many jobs about the place!

Christmas week is booked. Spaces before and after if anyone is keen for a quiet welcome to 2026.

Great to have rain!

Not so great pulling out this s**t. Can't remember what's its called, but it is not good for horses. *blue heliatrope. .

Unfortunate though, because this is about 2kgs of it. It over rides grass. Not hard to pull out but has root system you need to get it all. If you have sensitive skin, use gloves.

If you see it in your paddocks pull it out and burn it.... Same with most purple flowered plants except lucerne.
