Especially when you blend old and new with a touch of whimsy.

This telephone lamp is a perfect example. Created by , it takes something nostalgic and familiar and transforms it into a piece of art. Rather than ending up in landfill, these forgotten treasures are given a whole new life.

A little corner of the Pink Room, filled with stories from another time 🤍

This antique doctor’s waiting room chair sits proudly in the corner, a beautiful reminder of days gone by.

And those tiny ladies’ boots? A wonderful nod to an era when life seemed a little less complicated, fashions were a little more formal, and feet were apparently a fair bit smaller!

A quiet moment of reflection 🤍

When we first stepped into No. 52, we could see her potential, but we also knew the journey ahead would be anything but simple.

There were countless decisions, challenges, late nights, moments of doubt, and moments of pure joy. Through it all, our vision remained the same: to honour her history while creating a beautiful, welcoming place for others to enjoy.

Now, when I catch glimpses like this, I find myself reflecting on just how far she has come.

Every room tells a story. Every detail has been considered. Every corner holds a little piece of the journey.

We’re incredibly grateful to be her custodians and even more grateful to share her with guests who appreciate her as much as we do.

Some dreams take time, but they’re worth every step 🤍
