Check out Kurru our Asset Manager trying his hand at operating at Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo earlier in the year. Kurru is a Diesel Fitter by trade, and managed to ace 5 from 5 challenges with varying ball sizes.

GETTING DIRTY

Last Friday we hosted our first Yellowgate Dig Day, giving brokers the chance to climb into the seat, get behind the controls and try their hand at operating mini excavators, skid steers and a loader.

We ran two sessions, threw in a tour of the Vertu Equipment Victoria facility and lunch, and witnessed a mix of natural talent, heavy concentration, questionable technique and plenty of laughs.

Credit where it’s due, a few brokers surprised us with their skills… but it’s probably safe to say nobody’s considering a career change just yet.

Big thanks to the team at CTA Create Train Achieve and Vertu Group for their help in making the day a huge success.
