Tuesday was International Chefs Day, and to mark it our chefs hosted an omelette cook-off for the crew.

At Ironbark and RYZE Miles Accommodation Village, the kitchen teams showed everyone how an omelette is meant to be done, then handed over the pan.

Staff went head to head, with Construction, Housekeeping and Back of House all putting someone up. No two came out the same.

Congratulations to the winners at both camps, and thanks to our chefs for running it and for sharing what they know.

Today is World Mental Health Day. This year's theme is lived experience. Real voices, real change.

Our village crews work the same rosters as the people staying with us. Same flights, same drives, same time away from home.

They hear how camp life is actually going, every day, across a counter. Not once a year in a form.

If there's something that would make life out here better, tell the crew. They're listening, and so are we.

In May, this was a bare block in Miles, Queensland.

Five months later, construction is complete at RYZE Miles Accommodation Village, built by our team for RYZE Group.

What went in:
344 single rooms, each with an ensuite
90+ buildings, craned into place one by one
Covered walkways linking the rows
A dining hall, wet mess, gym, pizza oven, and an outdoor fireplace

Our team now runs the village day to day.
