🌴 Ever wanted to experience a true Kimberley wet season and watch the landscape come alive? 🌴
If you’re travelling the Kimberley and looking for somewhere to slow down and stay a little longer, we’re looking for volunteers to join us at Banana Well Getaway, with an immediate start available and the opportunity to stay through the wet season.
We’re open to singles, couples and families, and your four-legged travel companions are welcome too. 🐾
In exchange for a powered site, we’re looking for friendly, practical people who are happy to lend a hand for a few hours each week with general campground duties and become part of the day-to-day life at Banana Well.
In return, you’ll have:
• Powered site provided (own caravan, motorhome or camper accommodation required)
• Artesian spring dip pool
• Camp kitchen and shared facilities
• Pet-friendly campground
• Plenty of time to fish, crab, explore and experience life on the Dampier Peninsula
Set amongst peaceful bushland and wide open skies, Banana Well is a pretty special place to call home for a while. As the seasons change, it’s a chance to experience a different side of the Kimberley, with the country coming alive after the rain, plenty of time for fishing and crabbing, and those incredible starry skies at night.
Banana Well Getaway is an Indigenous-owned, off-grid eco bush campground offering a relaxed, family-friendly place to reconnect with nature and experience the Dampier Peninsula.
Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or with the family, if you’re looking for somewhere to settle in for a while, we’d love to hear from you.
