🌴 Apparently, just having a holiday to look forward to can make you happier!☀️

Groundwater Country Music Festival rolls into Broadbeach this weekend, bringing three days of live country music, good food and a pretty relaxed festival atmosphere just a few blocks back from the beach.
And staying in Burleigh makes it pretty easy to enjoy both worlds.
Start the morning across the road at Burleigh Beach, grab a coffee or breakfast around town, then jump on the tram and head up to Broadbeach for the festival.
No need to move the car. No worrying about finding a park.
Just enjoy the music, wander between the stages and when you’ve had enough boot-scooting for one day, jump back on the tram and head home to Burleigh. 😎
Groundwater runs Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October and entry is FREE, with Kasey Chambers, Kaylee Bell, The Wolfe Brothers, Beccy Cole, James Blundell, Lane Pittman and plenty more taking to the stages throughout Broadbeach.
It’s one of those weekends that reminds you there’s a lot more to a Gold Coast holiday than just the beach.

There’s something pretty nice about arriving at Burleigh Esplanade Apartments and realising you don’t actually have to decide what kind of holiday you’re having straight away. 😎🌴
Maybe you unpack, put your feet up and take in those Burleigh Beach ocean views from the apartment.
Maybe the pool looks too good to ignore.
Maybe it’s the spa, a quick workout, a game of pool… or absolutely nothing for a while.
And when coffee, lunch, dinner or a couple of drinks start sounding like a better idea, you don’t necessarily need the car for that either.
There are cafés, restaurants and bars within walking distance, whether it’s coffee around the corner, a casual meal or somewhere to settle in for dinner and drinks.
That’s one of the things we love about staying here.
You can spend the whole day around the resort, wander across to the beach, head out for something to eat, or mix a bit of everything together.
No complicated plans required.
Just wake up and see what you feel like doing. 🌊

Some holidays are all about doing everything.
Others are more about waking up, looking outside and deciding you really don’t need to do much at all. 😎🌴
That’s probably one of the best things about staying at Burleigh Esplanade Apartments.
You’ve got Burleigh Beach right across the road, cafés and restaurants nearby, James Street just up the road, and Burleigh Head National Park not far away if you feel like getting out and exploring.
But honestly… you don’t have to.
You can hang around the pool, relax in the spa, have a hit of tennis, sit out on the balcony for a while or wander across to the beach whenever you feel like it.
No rushing around.
No trying to fit ten things into one day.
Just enjoy Burleigh at your own pace.
That’s the beauty of choosing Burleigh Heads accommodation where so much is already close by.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what you want from your Gold Coast accommodation — somewhere comfortable, plenty of space and the freedom to decide what kind of day you feel like having.

Turns out the new tram to Burleigh isn't just something people are curious about… they're actually using the hell out of it. 🚊😎

In August alone, the G:link recorded **1.65 million trips — up 28.7% on the same time last year.**

And here's the bit holidaymakers might like even more…

**A trip on the tram is just 50 cents. Yep, 50 cents.** 👀

Stay at **Burleigh Esplanade Apartments** and you've already got the beach across the road, Burleigh's cafés, restaurants and shops nearby… and now exploring even more of the Gold Coast is pretty easy too.

Head north for a wander around Broadbeach.

Keep going towards Surfers Paradise.

Explore somewhere new for the day.

Then jump back on and finish where you'd probably rather be anyway… **Burleigh. 🌴🌊**

For 50 cents a trip, you can leave the car behind and make a day of it without worrying about parking or spending a fortune getting around.

There’s something pretty special about having this much space and still having the ocean sitting right outside the windows.

Breakfast looking over the water, plenty of room to spread out in the living area, your own kitchen when you feel like staying in… and of course, that balcony waiting for the first coffee of the morning or a quiet drink later in the day.

Walk in from The Esplanade and you can already catch a glimpse of **Burleigh Beach through the trees** — which gives you a pretty good idea of just how close to the ocean you really are.

Then look up. 😎

Burleigh Esplanade Apartments rises above the beachfront at **Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast**, with balconies looking out towards the Pacific Ocean and plenty of room to settle into holiday mode.

And there’s a bit more hiding around the back too — including our **full-size tennis court**, along with the pool, spa, sauna, gym and BBQ areas.

It’s one of those places where you can leave the car behind, wander across to the beach, walk into Burleigh for coffee or dinner, then come home and take in the ocean from your balcony.

Pretty hard to complain about that. 😉
