🔇 THE KOOKABURRA PARK NOVEMBER “NO” LIST 🔇
Sometimes making something more inclusive is about adding things.
Sometimes it's about taking things away.
So this November, we're taking away some of the sensory surprises. 👇
❌ NO hand dryers
Paper towel only — and this one is staying permanently!
❌ NO surprise maintenance noise
No mowers, whipper snippers or other noisy machinery during your stay.
❌ NO balloons
No unexpected popping!
❌ NO harsh lighting
We'll keep lighting softer and more comfortable where we can.
❌ NO strobe or flashing lights
Our regular disco is the exception, and we'll also have a Chill Disco with lower music, no disco lights and a more relaxed atmosphere.
❌ NO unnecessary background noise
Because sometimes you just want to hear the birds, the animals and your own family.
❌ NO pressure to participate
Watch. Join in. Take a break. Come back later. It's completely okay.
We're not trying to make Kookaburra Park silent or sensory-free.
We're trying to make it more predictable, more flexible and easier for families to choose what works for them. 💚
November is coming… and we can't wait to share it with you.
