Australia's best receptionist? We think we might know her! 🌟

Meet Ellie, one of the friendly faces welcoming guests to Novotel Canberra, and now one of just seven finalists competing for the title of Australia's Best Receptionist.

It's a national competition that puts hospitality professionals to the test, from handling tricky guest requests to thinking on their feet and delivering exceptional service.

Ellie will be heading to Melbourne for the AICR Australia Championship finals, and we'll be cheering her on every step of the way.

We visited RELICS: A New World Rises at Canberra Museum and Gallery , and it exceeded our expectations!

Each miniature world tells its own unique story, with incredible creativity, clever details and plenty of surprises to discover. It's the kind of exhibition that keeps both adults and kids entertained, with something new to spot every time you look a little closer.

RELICS is showing until the end of January 2027, and we'd definitely recommend adding it to your Canberra itinerary.
