Twelve months ago we tucked our very first citrus plants into the rear yard and dared to dream big — a stunning country-style outlook from our rear windows, a haven for local bees, AND a bounty of gorgeous organic fruit? Yes please!

Fast forward to today and we are absolutely LOVING what we see! Juicy Limes, radiant Lemons, and beautiful Olives are stealing the show — and honestly? They taste as amazing as they look. Yummo! 🫒✨

A Perfect Escape into Queensland's Granite Belt Wine Country
For those looking for a Southern QLD country escape, this is for you. My new besties Bindi and Aaron have created a magical destination for those wanting to literally escape to their own slice of winter wonderland.

Tucked away in the rolling highlands of the Southern Granite Belt, Cypress Ridge Cottages sits on 70 acres of native bushland and dramatic granite boulders — a la ndscape that feels worlds away from the city. National Parks
Girraween National Park is just 15 minutes away boasting 17 kilometres of walking tracks wind through massive granite formations, wildflowers, and rock pools. The climb up The Pyramid rewards with sweeping views across the Southern Downs.

For something wilder, Sundown National Park offers rugged gorges and remote 4WD tracks, while across the NSW border, Bald Rock National Park is home to Australia's largest granite monolith.

Approximately 2.5 hours south-west of Brisbane via the New England Highway, Cypress Ridge is an easy escape that punches well above its weight.

One of the most remarkable human beings I have ever had the privilege of calling a friend is fighting for his life. Tom has been waging a brutal, relentless battle against cancer and he has faced every single day of it with a courage that has left me and everyone who knows him completely in awe.

This man is a giant in the music industry. Gifted doesn't even begin to cover it. But beyond every talent he possesses, beyond every note he has ever played, Tom is simply one of the finest, most extraordinary souls I have ever known.

Fun for Every Age This Weekend at the Chinchilla Cultural Centre!

The Lapunyah Art Gallery is currently showcasing an inspiring collection from local artists as the Chinchilla Potters and Painters celebrate the beauty of Flora and Fauna. Explore a stunning range of painting, mosaic, ceramics, wood burning and mixed media works. A true testament to the talent in our region.

For the adults, Chinchilla Cinema is screening Scary Movie — picture your favourite horror classics completely demolished by gloriously stupid comedy. You'll be laughing too hard to be scared! And for the kids, Masters of the Universe is the perfect Saturday matinee adventure!
