It’s a long weekend, which means standard operating hours no longer apply to Monday. It’s the law of the land.
We are keeping things normal on Saturday and Sunday, but Monday is getting a haircut.

🔥Bush Fire Danger Period 🔥
Tomorrow, Thursday 1st October 2026, the Bush Fire Danger Period (BFDP) commences for the Lower Hunter District! 🚒

What does this mean?
• The BFDP is in effect until midnight 31st March, 2027. During this time, you WILL require a fire permit to burn 🔥
• Total Fire Ban (TOBAN) days may occur which mean NO open flame is to be used on those days 🚫 These are days of high/extreme fire danger where weather conditions align for potentially catastrophic fires to occur.
• Fire Danger Ratings will be displayed everyday during the BFDP on our FDR sign near Cemetery Rd and the community will be advised via our social media on extreme, catastrophic and TOBAN days 🔈

For all our dog guests, Clarence Town now has an Off Leash Dog Exercise Area at Wharf Reserve. It's not currently fenced, but will be at a future time.

Just a courtesy message advising that WRHP no longer sells Ice or Wood for camp fires. Ice can be obtained from the IGA, as always and wood can be purchased either at the IGA or the Hardware.

GET CURRIED AWAY is coming this Sunday 4th October - YAY!
Meals available from 5pm until 7:30pm. The gate to the bottom section of the park will be left open a bit later, so locals can also come and enjoy an easy dinner option from Suda.
