Now our record winter rains are abating we need to fix the boundary fences that cross the creek! We don’t lose the fence mesh each time as we just tie lightly enough to keep sheep from moving though when the water drops but easy enough for flood water to just part the mesh.

These Kangas think we have put up the exclusion fence just for them to be in peace from our sheep and cows! Our Native Grasses project will have to go back to the drawing board!

We are selling out regularly on Market Day so it does pay to text us on the Saturday prior to ensure you get the cut you want! And May Market was celebrating 2 years at Talbot Market and it was the best day yet!

Grass fed Beef for this Sunday at Talbot Farmers' Market - our new lambs are still growing!
These Tomahawks are 0.5kg each. Also Corned Silverside, Tbone and Rump steaks.
Grown on chemical free pastures and no chemical inputs to our animals.

July School Holidays - come and help feed the bottle lambs! Everyday at 12noon-1pm Beckworth Retreat and then go for lunch in Clunes afterwards.

Lambing is going well despite all the hand feeding…..even some triplets and lots of twins.
Meet Rosie and Sally who needed some extra bottle feeding to help mum out. None lost to foxes 🤞 yet thank you Simon Gillett

Thank you Hepburn Shire. We have been waiting for years for this sign and hopefully all that use Kierces Rd will obey the 60kph to keep it in working order.
Now to work on Google and stop all those going North from Ballarat to chose the Fastest Route as Fentons/Glendaruel/Kierces Road! Might need a sign at either end saying “Google is wrong!”
