Thank You Julia!

Today we say farewell and happy retirement to a very special part of the Hoey Moey family, our beautiful Julia ❤️

Julia first started at the Hoey back in October 2009 and for more than 16 years has worked tirelessly behind the scenes helping keep our accommodation looking its absolute best for every guest who walks through our doors.

Her care, dedication and incredible work ethic have been part of the Hoey every single day for well over a decade. Julia has always taken so much pride in what she does, and her warm smile and kind nature have made such a lasting impact on our staff, guests and everyone lucky enough to work alongside her.

While many guests may never have realised just how much work happens behind the scenes, we certainly do. Julia has played such an important role in making the Hoey feel welcoming, comfortable and cared for over the years.

Today marks not only her final day with us, but the beginning of a very well deserved retirement. Although we are heartbroken to see her go, we are so excited for this next chapter and cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for the Hoey Moey since 2009.

Thank you Julia for your loyalty, your care, your friendship and the love you have shown this place for so many years. You will always be part of the Hoey family.

We’re looking for a qualified kitchen chef to join our busy bistro at the Hoey Moey.

✅ Approx. 25 hours per week to start
✅ Leading to full-time hours for the right person
✅ Pub with live music, bistro, bottle shop, beer garden & accommodation

Who wants to do their farm work in Coffs Harbour and live by the ocean?

If you have experience picking raspberries, blueberries or blackberries, you can submit an application form now for the 2025 berry picking season. Please send an email to [email protected] and we will provide you with all the information you need, including the application link.

If you have hospitality experience, you are also welcome to apply for a job with us in person, to work in our bar, bistro or kitchen, which is located right next to the accommodation.
