SIGNWRITER WANTED — OUR SIGNS ARE COOKED. LITERALLY.
RADEKA DOWNUNDER MOTEL — COOBER PEDY
The Coober Pedy sun has been absolutely flogged our signage.
The colours have faded, the signs are looking like they've survived a nuclear winter, and vinyl? Forget it. Vinyl melts faster than an ice cream in the car park.
We've decided it's time to call in a professional before our motel signs become eligible for archaeological preservation.
We're looking for a signwriter who works with PAINT. Actual paint. With a brush. On a surface. Like the old days.
No vinyl. No stickers. No fancy stuff that turns into a sad, bubbling mess the minute summer arrives.
The mission:
• Bring our tired, sunburnt signage back to life.
• Give Radekas a bit of colour, character and personality.
• Use paint and finishes tough enough to survive the outback.
• Ideally, have a sense of humour. You'll need it working with us.
We're an underground motel. Our rooms are cool, our humour is dark, and our signs are currently auditioning for the role of something found at a crime scene.
We need someone who can make us look fantastic without the finished product spontaneously combusting.
Must be tougher than the Coober Pedy summer.
Must work with paint, not vinyl.
Must be comfortable working for people who think this is a perfectly normal job advertisement.
Know a talented signwriter who can save our signage from its impending heat-related death?
Tag them below!
RADEKA DOWNUNDER MOTEL
Come underground. It's the only way to escape the heat — unless you're a sign, in which case you're on your own.
