Last week Coolum had the honour of being home to a juvenile seal, named Dolly. 🦭

It is uncommon to see seals this far north however this little seal needed some time to heal and recover. We were so honoured that she chose Second Bay to do that in.

She has now moved onto somewhere else however if she does pop back up to either Coolum or the Sunshine Coast. It is very important to give her lots of space.

We all must stay 40 metres away and to keep any dogs far away from her too.

All photos have been captured with a zoom lense and the amazing volunteers from Coolum Coast Care were keeping a close eye on her. 💙
