HALLIDAY TOP 100 🍷
We are incredibly proud to share that Heritage W**es of Stanthorpe Whistling Kite Skin Contact Vermentino 2025 has been named one of the Halliday W**e Companion Top 100 W**es of 2026.
Selected from around 12,000 w**es judged, this recognition is a wonderful moment for our small Granite Belt w**ery — and particularly for our w**emaker, Gillian Heathcote.
Gillian's thoughtful approach to this Vermentino allowed the fruit to spend extended time on skins, with gentle extraction followed by time on fine lees, building texture, complexity and beautiful varietal character.
Apricot, mandarin, orange blossom and ginger meet a subtle sea-spray character, with a wonderfully textural palate and lingering finish.
For us, this award represents what Heritage is all about: hand-picked fruit, regenerative viticulture, small-batch w**emaking and the confidence to do things a little differently.
Congratulations Gillian — and to everyone in our vineyard and w**ery team who helped put this w**e in the bottle.
To have the Whistling Kite Vermentino flying amongst Australia's Top 100 is an honour we are enormously proud of. 🥂

🍇 **All in a day’s work at Heritage Estate!** 🍷🔨 The **w**emaker, the viticulturist and the chef** — although some days the job descriptions become a little blurred! 😂

From plunging ferments and tending vines to cooking, tasting, building and putting up our **new Heritage branding**, there is always something happening behind the scenes.

And this feels like more than a new sign. ✨ **New branding. New energy. A new beginning for Heritage Estate.**

One thing we’re particularly proud of is our **weekly staff lunch**. 🍽️🍷 Front of house, back of house, vineyard and w**ery come together around the same table. We eat, talk, laugh, taste w**e and catch up on what’s happening across Heritage.

Hospitality works so much better when the kitchen understands the cellar door, the cellar door understands the w**ery, and everyone understands the vineyard and the story behind the w**e. ❤️

To our team — thank you for the hard work, the laughs, the long days, the ideas, and for occasionally finding yourselves standing on things you probably shouldn’t be standing on. 😄
