Hi all! The time has come to farewell Kathy and Stuart who have been working with us over the last three months. Kathy and Stuart have been 'jack of all trades' , working in all areas of the business and helping to further develop the park both outside and in the office.
Although it is sad for us to see them leave, they are heading into a new adventure and we wish them all the best in their future plans. You may just catch them at another park on your travels!
We continue with improvements to our beautiful park. Changes and maintenance are underway! The grass is green and the pool is inviting.
Stay safe and enjoy your travels, drop in and say 'Hi' if you come through Cunnamulla.

It is hard to believe, however in November we have owned the park for a year...and Gaz would love a break! We are planning on taking some time out at Christmas and need a couple to come and enjoy working in our beautiful park. Hi there everyone, it is not often that a 1975 Viscount Royal rolls into the park, so when it does, we were keen to have a chat with its proud owners. Alex and Nat have lovingly and meticulously restored this beauty and what a delight it is! We had an interesting chat about the steps taken to bring this van back to life and this couple's passion for restoring the Viscount true to its era shone through. Thank you, Alex and Nat, for the chat and look inside. Took Gaz and I back to caravanning holidays we had when we were kids.... I am sure lots of you have childhood caravanning holidays tales to tell as well! Stay safe, everyone.

Cunnamulla Cabins & Caravan Park is looking for a friendly individual or couple to join our team.

Couples are encouraged to apply! The 30–40 hours per week can be shared between you, making it a great opportunity to work together while still having plenty of time to relax and explore the region.

🚐 Applicants must have their own caravan, motorhome or camper.

If you enjoy meeting people, keeping active and taking pride in beautiful surroundings, we'd love to hear from you.

The role includes:
🌱 Lawn mowing and garden maintenance
🧺 Laundry duties
🧹 Assisting with cleaning cabins
🔥 Lighting the afternoon campfire for guests to enjoy
🏕️ Welcoming guests and showing them to their sites or cabins when required
🔧 Minor maintenance tasks

We're looking for people who are:
✅ Friendly and enjoy chatting with fellow travellers
✅ Reliable, motivated and physically fit
✅ Happy to work flexible hours throughout the day
✅ Great communicators who enjoy working as part of a team
⭐ Office or reception experience is a bonus, but not essential.

It has been over a month since our last update, and there has been plenty happening around the park!

Firstly, we would like to give a big shout out and welcome to all our new followers. It’s wonderful to have you along on our journey as we continue working to create a green, spacious oasis in the outback for all travellers to enjoy. 🌿

Gary has been busy installing two new water tanks to help capture as much water as possible and keep the gardens and park well supplied. We’ve also had a few truckloads of gravel delivered as we begin the first stage of creating our new un-powered sites. Gary has enjoyed being back in his bobcat again.😀

We have lots of new ideas and improvements planned and look forward to sharing them with you as things progress.

To help keep this progress moving, we are seeking the following:

🏵️Motivated reliable, friendly and fit person to work causally mowing lawns and helping with general tasks around the park.
🏵️Award wages apply and the position is casual with flexible hours.

Job Opportunity for a Motivated Couple – Join Our Team!

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic couple to join us at Cunnamulla Cabins & Caravan Park. This is a hands‑on role suited to people who enjoy variety, take pride in their work, and communicate well with guests and team members.

Current hours: Approximately 50 hours per week shared between the couple, with hours increasing as the tourism season begins.

Key duties include:
• Cabin and amenities cleaning
• Pool maintenance
• Garden maintenance and ongoing development
• Assisting the manager with small building and improvement projects
• Taking bookings and answering phone enquiries
• General support around the park as needed

What we’re looking for:
• Motivated, positive team players
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work alongside management
• Experience with Newbook is an advantage but not essential, time to learn the programme before we go live
• ABN and own accommodation preferred
