✨ DIMBOOLA GLOW: SPRING GLOW ✨

Our next event at Tower Park is looking fantastic!

Come down and get your glow on for an evening of food, music, lights and community. As a fundraiser to help with maintenance costs of our community-owned park, we're asking for a gold coin donation on entry.

Tower Park now has a connection to a three-phase power supply. This enables more nighttime events like this Saturday’s Glow celebration and next year’s Wimmera Steampunk Festival, where the park transforms into a Grand Drawing Room with a costume runway running through it as part of a light and sound show. A familiar part of Dimboola given the miniature treatment, with plenty of recognisable detail still in the scene.

I reckon the black and white works particularly well with this one.

AN UPDATE ON TOWER PARK'S NEW POWER SYSTEM

Over the past two weeks you may have noticed electricians onsite at Tower Park.

Works are well underway on an extensive new power system, including over 18 sets of power points conveniently located around the park, two large power connectors for external events, a new lockable switchboard, and all the ducting and trunking required to make it safe and tidy.

We are expecting Powercor onsite next week to connect three-phase power and install meters.

Following a competitive tender process, Dimboola-based Wimmera Electrical were appointed to complete the works.

Once Powercor have completed final sign-offs and connections, the exposed galvanised panels and racking around the tower will be painted a rust colour to blend in with the existing rust panels above, as originally planned.

This important upgrade has been generously funded by Squadron Energy — we sincerely thank them for their support.

With our new power system in place, running events, and pop-ups at Tower Park will be easier, safer and more successful than ever.
