From world-class trails to warm country hospitality, Nannup is ready to welcome Stage 2 of the Cape to Cape MTB tomorrow.

⚠️ Visitor Information: Tank 7 MTB Park and the associated trail network will be closed to the public from 6.00am to 4.00pm on Friday 16 October while racing is underway.

Following the excitement of hosting the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, riders and visitors will once again discover why Nannup has become one of Western Australia's most exciting mountain biking and adventure destinations.

The South West's premier mountain bike stage race travels through Augusta, Nannup, Margaret River and Dunsborough, highlighting some of the region's most spectacular riding destinations.

From the flowing singletrack and forest scenery of Tank 7 MTB Park to the vibrant atmosphere at Foreshore Park, Stage 2 showcases why Nannup has earned its place as WA's newest Trail Town and one of Australia's South West's most exciting adventure destinations.

Whether you're cheering from the sidelines, enjoying a coffee in town or stopping by Foreshore Park to watch the racing unfold, there are plenty of opportunities to be part of the excitement.

🚵‍♀️ Cape to Cape MTB Comes to Nannup Tomorrow! 🚵‍♂️

After an unforgettable week hosting the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, we're excited to keep the momentum rolling as Stage 2 of the Cape to Cape MTB Event arrives in Nannup on Friday 16 October.

The iconic four-day stage race showcases the best mountain biking destinations across the South West, with stages in Augusta, Nannup, Margaret River and Dunsborough. Tomorrow, competitors will experience the world-class trails of Tank 7 MTB Park, further cementing Nannup's reputation as one of Western Australia's premier mountain biking destinations and WA's newest Trail Town.

⚠️ Please note that Tank 7 MTB Park and the associated trail network will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC for the duration of the event, from 6.00am to 4.00pm on Friday 16 October.

We encourage the community to head down to Foreshore Park, cheer on the riders and help us give visitors a warm Nannup welcome.

🚧 Road and Trail Closures
• Brockman Street will be closed from 7.30am to 2.30pm.
• Tank 7 MTB Park and the associated trail network will be closed to the public from 6.00am to 4.00pm.
• The trail network will reopen following a final safety sweep after the last competitor has completed the course.
• The event route intersects the Munda Biddi Trail near the new bridge. Event marshals will be onsite between 7.30am and 2.30pm to assist trail users and ensure safe passage.

• Racing commences from Foreshore Park at 9.00am.
• Riders will travel through the heart of Nannup before tackling the renowned trails of Tank 7 MTB Park.
• Competitors are expected to begin crossing the finish line from approximately 11.45am.
• Presentations, food vendors and event activities will continue throughout the afternoon at Foreshore Park.

The Shire of Nannup team will be at Foreshore Park promoting Nannup's trail experiences and mountain biking opportunities, with merchandise available throughout the day.

🅿️ Parking Information for UCI Gravel World Championships Weekend | 10-11 October 🚴‍♀️

To help everyone enjoy the event safely and smoothly, please plan your parking before heading into town.

🏡 Resident Parking
A dedicated parking area for Nannup residents is available on the vacant land behind the Nannup Medical Centre. Residents can access this area from Adam St by showing proof of residence, a driver's licence, Nannup (NP) number plates, or a Resident Parking Card obtained from the Shire Administration Office before the event.

🚗 Spectator Parking
Visitors and event spectators will be directed to designated parking areas, including:
• Nannup District High School
• The Mill Site
• Mowen Springs Farm

📍 Town Centre Parking
Parking within the Nannup town centre will be very limited - Please use parking areas as stated above and avoid event barricaded areas.

From Saturday and Sunday, sections of Warren Road, including the area between the Nannup Brewing Company and the Clock Tower, will be barricaded and unavailable for parking.

Event staff and signage will help direct visitors to the appropriate parking locations throughout the weekend.
