Taking on the role of Club President for 2027 is none other than local legend, Ian Smith! 🐯❤️🤍

Making his First Grade debut at just 17 years old, Smithy went on to be part of the 2002 Premiership winning side and celebrated an incredible five First Grade Premierships with the Tigers in 2002, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2011!

A talented player both in attack and defence, Smithy was the Group’s leading point scorer in 2003, leading try scorer in 2011 and Man of the Match in the 2011 Grand Final.

A well known and respected member of our community, Smithy is a true clubman through and through. He continues to give back to the Tigers as a junior coach, proud sponsor and familiar face at both junior and senior games. You might even catch him pulling the boots on occasionally! 😉

With a wealth of experience, strong community ties and plenty of passion for the Tigers, Smithy has some big plans for 2027, and we’re excited to see where he takes the club!

Congratulations Smithy! 🐯❤️🤍
