Suspended between earth and sky, the Tibetan prayer flags at Yulo Kopa are far more than colourful decorations. With every movement of the wind, they are carry prayers of compassion, wisdom, healing and peace across the land and to all beings.

The Yulo Kopa new mudrooms will be a beautiful addition, especially during those cool winter evenings, misty mornings, and rainy hinterland days. Designed as a welcoming transition between nature and comfort, they’ll provide a private space to leave your wet-weather gear behind, slip into our complimentary slippers, and step into a warm, inviting cottage.

Filled with natural light and framed by large windows overlooking the forest, these spaces will help guests slow down, unwind, and reconnect with the peaceful rhythm of the landscape. And there’s more to come — each mudroom will soon be fully enclosed with elegant glass panels and roof sheeting, creating a light-filled sanctuary that can be enjoyed in every season.

Up the winding driveway, the world begins to slow…

The trees open, the first cottage appears, and to your left — sweeping mountain views stretching toward Biriwal Bulga National Park, wrapped in mist and endless sky.

A little further up, the homestead welcomes you, with beautiful Nalanda Cottage quietly resting in the distance. Then finally, you arrive — Gongkar Cottage nestled amongst the trees, overlooking the mountain, where nature sets the pace.

A fragrant pear, date, semolina & rose Cypriot cake — beautifully moist, gently sweet, and soaked in syrup with delicate floral notes.
