🐢 TURTLE NESTING SEASON IS ALMOST HERE! 🌊💚

Something truly magical is happening along the Ningaloo Coast! ✨

Our beautiful marine turtles are beginning to return to our shores, preparing for one of nature’s most incredible events — nesting season! 🐢

From November through March, the beaches of Ningaloo become a vital nesting ground for these magnificent creatures, and witnessing a turtle coming ashore to lay her eggs is an experience you’ll never forget.

But with this privilege comes responsibility. 💚

Nesting turtles are incredibly sensitive to human disturbance, and even something as simple as a torchlight, sudden movement or getting too close can cause a turtle to abandon her nesting attempt.

🌿 Want to witness this incredible natural wonder?

We highly recommend joining a guided turtle nesting experience with Exmouth Adventure Co or the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) through the Ningaloo Turtle Program.

Their knowledgeable guides help visitors experience this extraordinary event while ensuring the turtles and their precious nesting habitat are respected and protected.

Because the most memorable wildlife encounters are the ones where we leave nothing behind but footprints and allow nature to do its thing. 🐢💚

🌊 No Glow. Move Slow. Stay Low.

Let’s help protect Ningaloo’s turtles for generations to come!

What does Weja mean? Come and take a look inside our holiday home to find out!

In the warmer summer months, the Daddy emu wanders the streets of Exmouth with his chicks searching for water and food. The procession past 23 Ningaloo St is well tracked. Weja is the Nyoongar word for Emu!

Would you stay here on your next visit to Exmouth?

This is how the Ningaloo Coast is looking right now. Wildflower season is one of our favourite times of the year. The land is alive with colour, and the air is filled with the sound of humming insects. Whenever we go for a walk we slow down take in all the small flowers and pollinators, often loosing track of time along the way!

What a way to spend a day right? Let us know what your favourite flowers you’ve found in the area are in the comments below.
