The Student's Kava Cup returns to Gatton this Saturday.

After claiming the inaugural Cup in 2025, the UQ Gatton Black Pigs will put the trophy on the line against the USQ Saints in the A Grade fixture at Hugh Courtney Oval.

More than competition points are at stake.

It's university pride. It's bragging rights. And it's the chance to hold the Student's Kava Cup for another year.

Where do we start? It was a round that didn’t disappoint!

I guess we’ll start with the elephant in the room. Who was it? Who managed to get 0 from 8?

Now last year, 16 tipsters got 0 from 5 in Round 12, but 0 from 8 is something else entirely. So the question has to be asked… when you get 8 from 8, you get an extra 2 points, right? 🤔 Does that mean 0 from 8 should be worth -2? 🤣

Alright, alright… on Thursday let’s make sure we support this tipster if we see him in the pub and maybe help out Tru Blue Water Dave. We were truly shocked, mate!

This is also a good time to remind everyone to put their tips in. Young Finn didn’t send his in or get one of his mates to help him out, so he also picked up a big fat zero. Thanks for the company, Dave!

The leaderboard remains locked up tighter than Origin defence, with Mr Abel and Ryan’s Transport tied on 78 points.
