Then settle in for dinner, a refined menu of shared plates crafted by The Gerald's Head Chef Rodi Aasma, putting Yanget's own lamb and beef centre stage alongside the very best local produce the region has to offer.

Meet Rodi, the man behind every dish at The Gerald 👨‍🍳

Two bars, a full conference centre, back to back events... Rodi runs all of our kitchens without breaking a sweat. He's been our Head Chef since 2023, always smiling, always up for the challenge.

He's from Hamburg (we call him "handsome from Hamburg", he's yet to deny it), cooking since 2019, and he says what keeps him at The Gerald is the people around him and the room to be creative with his food.

His favourite thing to eat? "The dish I don't cook myself."
