Another successful lantern making event held at Echo Bend Camping Park. Was a progressive event throughout the day, enjoyed by all ages. The weather was ideal enough to allow lanterns to dry. All enjoyed their camping experience. Some staying for the first time and will definitely be returning. Others were repeat campers, couldn't wait to be back exploring the grounds.

๐ŸŒฟ Expressions of Interest โ€“ Womenโ€™s Wellness Retreat 2027*๐ŸŒฟ

Something special is beginning to take shape at Echo Bend Camping Park

From 18โ€“20 February 2027, we are bringing women together for a nurturing and uplifting wellness retreat surrounded by the peace and beauty of the Australian bush.

Echo Bend is a wonderfully unique place, with abundant birdlife, wildlife, beautiful native flora and Mitchell River National Park right next door. It provides the perfect setting for women to slow down, connect, learn, create and enjoy time with like-minded people.

As we begin planning the retreat, we would love to hear from women who are passionate about sharing their skills, knowledge or creativity.

We are seeking expressions of interest from facilitators and stallholders in areas such as:

๐Ÿง˜ Yoga, Tai Chi, meditation and mindfulness
๐ŸŽจ Creative activities, art, craft and self-expression
๐ŸŒฑ Nutrition, self-care, mental wellbeing and holistic health
๐Ÿ’ƒ Dance, movement and physical wellness
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Unique stalls, products or activities that inspire and uplift women

We are also very open to hearing about other ideas or offerings that may complement the retreat.

This is an opportunity to help create a meaningful experience where women can connect, rejuvenate and feel supported within a welcoming natural environment.

To express your interest or have a conversation about becoming involved, please contact Julie:

To finalize The May 50km, my team did so well. Together we raised $380 and did 1000.73, everyone achieved the 50km for the month plus so much more. I did manage to complete 153.36 (pushed my level to 150km) with the help from joining my daughter & grandchildren at Orbost on the rail trail/snowy rail bridge-well worth the visit.

My team is doing really well, this week we calculated 182 kms. Great that everyone is getting motivated, doing as much as they can-atleast your doing something for yourself too.Only 10 days to go to complete (raised my kms to 150-so pushing it). Riding further each time. The chilly mornings, cold fingers, now not using the 'granny gears' up the hills-getting stronger every ride.

The mornings have certainly been chilly but turn out lovely days. The half -way mark for May 50km.My team clocked 270 for this week. Life can get busy but with 'every step' we take, every km we add, we know we are doing ourselves something good & thinking of those with MS. My ride/walks are always so interesting. Listening to the birds as I approach the bush then catching a glimpse of different wildlife in my area.
