I know we have a lot of birds around the camp park & along our adjoining walking track to access The Nat. Park. It was great to hear that some of The East Gippsland Birdlife group counted 61 species on their recent visit to Echo Bend Camping Park.
They split into groups or went their separate ways, meeting back for morning tea & lunch to collate what they had seen & heard. A great place to sit, relax, stop & listen to the surrounds.

There's numerous reasons why 'I love where I live'. To wake up in the morning and see wildlife out my windows. To be able to access the Mitchell River National Park, any time/day from our campground. Just returned from the Dead C**k Den-so much water coming over the waterfall, after all the rain last night-hasn't been like that all winter.

As I work from home, at Echo Bend Camping Park. Sometimes you may wonder, what I do in my spare time-if I do get much of that. Well...I dabble in a lot of different Art related activities. I am a Designer/Dressmaker/Artist. Finally found time to have a small display at The Bruthen Village Maker for the month of October. Penny has a lovely unique shop in the main street filled with a variety of Arts & Crafts made by many talented Artists. So next time your visiting East Gippsland & stopping for a coffee/break -pop into her shop and support another local business.

For most visitors we're only 3 hours away (from Melb)-just far enough for a proper getaway, but close enough to keep the trip easy with the kids in the car. Spend the weekend unwinding together: bush walks, open spaces for the kids to explore, campfires, put the push bikes in, kick a footy, plenty of room for Dad to switch off. Women’s Wellness Retreat – Facilitators Wanted 🌿

I am currently putting together the program for my first Women’s Wellness Retreat at Echo Bend 18th - 21st Feb 2027, and I would love to hear from people who may be interested in being involved.

I am looking for facilitators who may like to run workshops, creative classes, wellness sessions, or offer entertainment that would suit the feel of the weekend.

It could be something calming, creative, uplifting, fun, meaningful or a little bit different.
