If the kids reckon there’s “nothing to do” this weekend,
we might have to disagree. 😎🌴

It’s shaping up to be a pretty big family weekend on the Gold Coast, and staying in Burleigh puts you in a great spot to pick and choose what everyone feels like doing.

🏉 The Rugby League World Cup is in town on Saturday, with a triple-header at Cbus Super Stadium featuring Fiji, France, New Zealand and PNG across the men’s and women’s competitions.

🎃 It also happens to be Halloween weekend, so there are plenty of chances for the little ghosts and ghouls to get involved. Stockland Burleigh Heads has free Halloween face painting and spooky treats on Saturday, while there are more trick-or-treat activities happening around the southern Gold Coast.

And if food, music and a bit of dancing sounds more your style, the Gold Coast Greek Festival is taking over HOTA on Saturday and Sunday with Greek food, live music, dancing and plenty happening for families.

Then there’s the stuff that doesn’t need an event calendar at all.

A morning at Burleigh Beach 🌊
A walk around the headland.
A swim back at Gemini Court. 🏊
Maybe a hit of tennis. 🎾

Sometimes the view does most of the talking. 🌊🌴

A little look at **Burleigh Beach from above**… starting out over that beautiful blue water, following the coastline back towards Burleigh Headland and eventually finding our way home to **Gemini Court Holiday Apartments**.

And honestly, it probably shows the location better than we ever could in words.

Beach out front.

The headland just down the coast.
And Gemini Court tucked right in the middle of it all.

It’s one of those places where you can wake up, wander down to the beach, grab a coffee, go for a swim and figure out the rest of the day later.

🌴 **Exploring the Southern Gold Coast – There's So Much More to Discover!** ☀️

One of the best things about staying in Burleigh Heads is just how much there is to explore right on your doorstep.

And while it's tempting to spend your entire holiday enjoying the beach and those beautiful ocean views from Gemini Court Holiday Apartments, there's a whole lot more waiting just a little further south.

So, pack the swimmers, grab a coffee and let's go exploring! 🚗

💦 **Tallebudgera Creek** is a great place to start. Beautiful turquoise water, sandy shores and a lovely spot for a swim, paddleboard or simply relaxing beside the water.

🏖️ Head a little further down to **Palm Beach**, where you'll find another gorgeous stretch of coastline, local cafés and plenty of places to stop and enjoy the laid-back Gold Coast lifestyle.

🐨 **Currumbin** is definitely worth spending some time in. There's the iconic Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can get up close to Australian wildlife, or take a walk up Elephant Rock for some spectacular views along the coast.

🌊 Continue south through **Tugun and Bilinga**, with their beautiful beaches and relaxed seaside atmosphere. Sometimes the best part of exploring is finding somewhere you hadn't planned to stop!

☀️ Then there's **Kirra and Coolangatta**. Stunning beaches, great surf, coastal walking paths and plenty of little spots to grab lunch or settle in for an afternoon coffee.

And don't forget **Rainbow Bay, Snapper Rocks and Point Danger**. The views are something else, especially when the surf is rolling in.

The beauty of exploring the southern Gold Coast is that you don't need to squeeze everything into one day. Pick a few favourites, take your time and enjoy whatever catches your eye along the way.

**No dinner plans this Saturday? Palm Beach might have just sorted that for you… 🌮🎶🌴**

One of the things we love about staying in Burleigh Heads is that there’s always something happening somewhere nearby — and this Saturday it’s Palm Beach’s turn.

**Feast on Fifth** is taking over Fifth Avenue from **4pm–9pm this Saturday 17 October**, bringing together food trucks, local restaurants, live music, family entertainment and plenty of that relaxed southern Gold Coast atmosphere.

And even better… **it’s free to wander in and enjoy.**

So you could spend the morning at Burleigh Beach, take it easy around the pool at Gemini Court for a while, then head down to Palm Beach later in the afternoon and let someone else worry about dinner. 😎

Grab something you’ve never tried before.

Find a spot to listen to some live music.

Let the kids check out the activities.

Or just wander along Fifth Avenue and see where the afternoon takes you.

No complicated itinerary needed.

Just another pretty good excuse to get out and explore a little more of the southern Gold Coast while you’re here. 🌴

Reckon you could spend a few days here? 🌊

A long stretch of beach, waves rolling around Burleigh Headland and that blue water you never quite get tired of looking at.

This is the little patch of the Gold Coast we get to call home at Gemini Court Holiday Apartments.

Stay a few days and settle into your own routine. Head out for a morning coffee, wander down to Burleigh Beach or take a walk around the headland. Then back to your apartment for a lazy lunch and a bit of time with your feet up.

You might have a whole list of things to do. You might find a few of them can wait until tomorrow. ☀️

You can start the day slowly with a coffee on the balcony and take in those huge ocean views… or head straight across to Burleigh Beach for a walk, a swim or just a bit of time by the water.
Back at Gemini, there’s plenty to enjoy without going anywhere.

Take the scenic drive through the rainforest, stop for a walk, find a waterfall, or head up later in the day and catch one of those hinterland sunsets that makes you stop for a minute and just take it all in.

Family holidays don’t always need a packed itinerary. 🌴☀️
Some days you’re up early and heading out for an adventure.
Other days? Everyone’s quite happy staying exactly where they are. 😎

There’s always something happening on the Gold Coast… and this week it’s getting a little more colourful. 🎨🌴
BLEACH Festival kicks off today, bringing 11 days of live music, art, theatre, dance and some pretty impressive installations to the Gold Coast.
And if you're staying in Burleigh, it’s another one of those things you can easily add to the holiday without having to plan every minute of your day.
Spend the morning on Burleigh Beach. Grab lunch somewhere around James Street. Head out and explore some of BLEACH Festival at HOTA later in the day… then make your way back to Gemini Court and finish things off with an evening on the balcony overlooking the coast.
Sounds like a fairly decent day to us. 😎
There’s plenty happening across the festival too, from large-scale outdoor artworks and performances to live music — including free events during the opening weekend.
BLEACH runs from 1–11 October, so if you're visiting the Gold Coast over the next couple of weeks, it might be worth adding to the list.
Because sometimes the best Gold Coast holidays aren't about packing everything in.
They're about having plenty of options… and deciding what you feel like doing when you wake up. 🌊☀️

And this apartment definitely has plenty of it.
Gemini Court’s 4 Bedroom Ocean Glimpses Apartment in Burleigh Heads is a great option for bigger families, groups of friends or anyone who likes being together on holiday… without being in each other’s pockets the whole time. 😂
There’s a big open living area, plenty of room around the dining table, a full kitchen, separate laundry and four bedrooms, so you can actually unpack, settle in and make yourselves at home.
There’s even a little workstation if someone absolutely has to open the laptop while they’re away. 💻
Then there’s the balcony.
Morning coffee, a bit of greenery, little glimpses of the ocean and that unmistakable Burleigh feel in the background. Not a bad way to start the day. ☕🌊
And when you do feel like heading out, you’ve got Burleigh Beach, Burleigh Head National Park, cafés, restaurants and plenty more of the Gold Coast close by.
Or stay put for a while.
