On the 14th and 15th November Gretna Green Hotel will be hosting a Garage Sale Trail for 2026. Not keen on people traipsing through your front lawn while you try and flog off your 80's tupperware or 50 pairs of shoes you no longer wear? Book a table with us here at the pub.... This one will be free! It will be our first official community market of the season but this one will be for garage sale type items, yes you can sneak in a few new items to flog as well. Its will run over 2 days and we will include some entertainment and food as well.

Tasmanians are being invited to nominate their favourite pubs, cafes, bottle shops and live music venues for the Pulse Tasmania and Hospitality Tasmania People's Choice Award.

Nominations are open across five categories: Best Pub, Best Bottle Shop, Best Breakfast, Best Coffee and Best Live Music.

Steve Old, CEO of Hospitality Tasmania said the awards give locals a chance to back the venues and businesses they love most, from neighbourhood pubs to tucked-away cafes.

Voting opens on August 1, winners will be announced from September 25 to 29 and celebrations will finish at Mac02 on September 30 Tickets for the event can be purchased at https://bit.ly/HTawards26.
