🍻 Farewell Drinks – One Last Round 🍻

Well… after 5½ years, the time has come to swap sides, and finally become customers instead of the ones making sure everyone else is having a good time.

To everyone who’s supported us, shared stories, created memories, popped in for a coffee, stayed at the park, or simply kept us entertained here at Molongle — thank you.

Come join us for an afternoon of drinks, laughs, questionable stories, and helping us see ourselves out properly.

FUNDRAISER ALERT!!!

As a small community, we always come together when someone is in need — and now it’s our turn to do exactly that.
Some of you may have heard that a local family’s world has been turned upside down following the recent diagnosis of their beautiful almost two-year-old son, Rowen, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and urgently transferred to Brisbane for specialist treatment.
As any parent can imagine, nothing prepares you for seeing your child face something so devastating. Between hospital stays, travel, time away from work, accommodation costs, and the many ongoing expenses that come with treatment, the financial pressure can quickly become overwhelming — and that’s the last thing we want this family to be worrying about right now.
With the family’s permission, we will be donating all raffle proceeds to help ease some of these burdens, allowing Holly and Ryan Davenport to focus fully on Rowen and his recovery. We also hope to help make it possible for Rowen’s sisters to visit and stay connected with their little brother throughout treatment.
Most importantly, we want this family to know they are not facing this alone.

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from our dear family friends, Cody Ford and Melissa Ford from Action Helicopters Capella there will also be 3 professionally framed, autographed Broncos memorabilia pieces auctioned immediately following the raffles.
This is your chance to take home a beautiful piece of football history while making a real difference for a family who needs their community right now.

📣 Exciting News for Molongle Beach Caravan Park, Cafe & Bar!

We are excited to announce that from the 1st of July, Cade and Chrisop Colls will be the new face of Molongle Beach Caravan Park, Cafe & Bar.

Many of you may already know Cade and Chrisop, or at least know their deep connection to North Queensland and the local community. Cade was raised in Home Hill, Chrisop grew up in Collinsville, and together they have spent the last 15 years managing a family cattle property before establishing their own cattle block, Quince Park.

Cade is a fourth-generation cattle producer, and their children—Caden (22), Matilda (19) and Clancy (18)—are proud fifth-generation cattle farmers. Their family has built a life around hard work, community, family values and the land.

Molongle has always held a special place in their hearts. Whether it was crabbing in the creek, heading across to Cape Upstart, or loading up the Bertram for a family trip out to the reef, some of their favourite family memories have been made right here at Molongle.

While hospitality is a new adventure for them, their passion, enthusiasm and commitment to people make them a wonderful fit for our community. As they often say, they know plenty about looking after cattle, but they’re excited to learn everything there is to know about running the caravan park, cafe and bar.

We ask our members, locals and visitors to give Cade, Chrisop and their family a warm Molongle welcome and support them as they begin this exciting new chapter.

We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Molongle under their care and wish them every success.
