Don't miss this year's Tasmanian Craft Fair!

The Tasmanian Craft Fair will not return in its current format in 2027, as Deloraine Rotary Club organisers face an ageing membership and fewer volunteers.

The 45th fair will run in Deloraine from October 30 to November 1, with 238 stallholders, live demonstrations and visitors across the Meander Valley.

"The extensive effort required has become increasingly difficult," fair director Stephanie Johnston said.

Johnston said the club would reflect on the fair's "legacy" and explore a new identity after this year's event, which she said would be the best yet.

If there's one thing I hate with a passion it's bank fees. As a small business we are now expected to absorb these, reducing our income. The other option is raising our prices for everyone which I'm also opposed to. As a result we will no longer be accepting card payments. Steve will be relieved because despite 4 years of training and encouragement he still refused to use the Square. Payment options going forward will be CASH (100% preferred) or bank transfer which doesn't attract a fee.
💵 💸 CASH IS KING!! 💸 💵

Your coffee shouldn’t cost extra just because you’ve paid by card.

That's why from October card surcharges will be banned.

Saving you money every time you tap.
