A beautiful sunset tonight after all the rain. There is lots more rain to come too and the property is looking greener already! Yay. I'm a bit obsessed with the new pews...are you?!🥰

Pull up a pew! We have added the most beautiful antique pews to the firepit area and polyurethened them for the elements. I love that they have a history and hope they are enjoyed by many families while they make memories around the firepit for years to come. The weather is stopping us trying them out atm, but as soon as it clears up the fire will be lit and we will let you know how they go!

This is the sound I have been waiting to hear! No music needed! Yippee...this will green up the paddocks for the animals and fill up our rain water tanks. We aren't on mains water at the farm, so you can understand our excitement now! The Ducks are living their best lives running around in the rain. All the other animals... not so much. 😅 They all have dry houses, so they will be fine! Are you loving the rain if you are in Brissy, too? Or if you are further afield are you getting rain too?

This morning so many of the chickens wanted to lay an egg at once! These 3 sisters looked so cute, so I took a pic to show you them laying together. We have 5 nesting boxes and 12 chickens decided that they all needed to make us breakfast at once, so lots of chooks were sharing boxes. Due to the time of year we have so many eggs at Fig Tree Farm at the moment. Yum!

Need some love today? Milkshake sends you some love straight through your screen...he has plenty to spare! He wasn't actually born with this heart. It appeared in his markings as he was maturing. I hope it is here to stay!

We went on a mission to explore the river beside Fig Tree Farm! It was the first time for Milkshake and Mousse. They absolutely loved it down there, and it's a great activity for enrichment. Goats love exploring, eating and being anywhere we are...so they had a great afternoon. Now if someone could order us some rain so the river fills up...that would be great!
