Had a great day at Werribee Zoo today. Lots of animals to look at and talk about. The best part was catching the shuttle bus to the elephants, which helped with all our little legs. This gave us more time to explore larger areas. A great service for everyone to use. Fun was had and the sunshine was spot on.

I adapted the learning environment to create more space for children to freely explore the experiences and resources available to them. This encouraged greater independence, curiosity, and engagement in their learning.
The children continuously explored a variety of play areas, providing opportunities to develop their social skills, confidence, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. Through these experiences, they were able to learn at their own pace, build positive relationships with their peers, and work towards reaching their full potential in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Superhero day for Heartkids:

Hi everyone,

To celebrate Superhero Day this Thursday, we have organised a raffle to support HeartKids.

The prize pack includes a variety of superhero-themed items, including two costumes and many other great prizes.

It’s that time of year again for a great cause. The actual day if Friday 5th June, but I will be celebrating and creating a fundraiser at the farm on Thursday 4th June. Today we challenged the wind and went out to Werribee Beach to explore the playground and use up some energy. The older children climbed the rock wall to use the big slide, the younger children crawled through the tunnel and up onto the small slide. Lots of them used the swings for a good period of time, before we headed home for our lunch. Was nice being out in the sun too.

First day of school holidays and I took 7 children to Werribee Zoo.The dinosaurs were delayed, so each child had a chance to check their maps and lead the way. We had the time and enjoyed the adventure of the safari bus and we sat next to the zebras and had lunch. We did get rained on a bit but otherwise we explored lots together.
