The open plan includes dining and kitchen, a lounge with a TV as well as a study desk. A separate bathroom and shower conveniently lead off the main living area with a separate entrance. Outside is a gorgeous koi pond as well as an outdoor seating area, a perfect place to watch the kangaroos at sunrise and sunset. Welcome to the Studio 🤍

I took these photos during my elderly parents’ recent visit from Japan. It had been many years since they last came to Australia, and this was their first time seeing our super dog-friendly accommodations. They even spent a night at The Wagon. 🐾

My father now walks with a walking stick, so I couldn’t help feeling a little nervous watching him make his way around the property. But he thoroughly enjoyed exploring the trees, flowers, and natural beauty that make Mountolive Studio so special.

My father is the person who instilled in me a love of dogs and animals. Growing up, our home was filled with dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, a goose, turtles, insects, and all kinds of creatures. Looking back, I realise that the passion behind Mountolive Studio began with him.

During this visit, he told me that this would likely be his last trip to Australia. He feels he is now too old for such a long flight. Hearing those words was bittersweet, but I am incredibly grateful that he was able to experience this place that has become such an important part of my life.

These are memories I will cherish forever. ❤️
