🍻 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY FROM THE JUNEE HOTEL! 🍻

Keeping Dads Hydrated Since 1878.
148 years of looking after Dad. We’ve had plenty of practice

Today we celebrate the Dads, Grandads, Stepdads, father figures… and the bloke who reckons standing beside the BBQ with a drink counts as cooking. 😂
It’s your day, Dad.
No mowing.
No fixing things.
No “while you’re up…” jobs and absolutely NO doing the dishes.

Bring Dad down to the Junee Hotel for lunch or dinner, grab him a cold one and remind him just how much you love him…
Preferably while someone else picks up the bill. 😂

He needs good food, a cold drink, his family around the table and an afternoon where nobody asks him to fix anything.

You’ll usually find him behind the bar… unless he’s:
📚 Doing the books
💪 Delivering and moving the kegs
🛏️ Making beds upstairs
🥩 Cooking a cracking steak
🔧 Fixing whatever decided to break that day
🧹 Or doing one of the other 427 jobs apparently included in “owning a pub.” 😂
He’s the publican, bookkeeper, delivery bloke, maintenance man, occasional housekeeper, backup chef.

Cheers to the bloke who quietly keeps the wheels turning.

🚂🍻 ALL ABOARD… AND IT STARTS RIGHT HERE IN JUNEE.

Eight pubs. 48 hours. Two vintage diesel locos. 250 passengers and one cracking Riverina adventure that leaves from Junee and rolls back into Junee. ❤️

The crew from The Local jumped aboard Aussie Pubs - The Pub Train, travelling through the Riverina and doing something we can absolutely get behind… visiting country towns and supporting country pubs.

For the Junee Hotel, this one hit particularly close to home.
We've been standing opposite the railway since 1878. For 148 years, trains have brought workers, travellers, characters and more than a few good stories through Junee and through our doors.
