Exciting news!! We have decided to keep this as an ongoing offer....

Stay 2 nights, and for the price of a 5kg bag of carrots 🥕 🥕 (currently under $10), you can stay an extra night **

All you need to do to claim your extra night, is book a 2 night stay through any of the usual booking channels, and then like/tag us on your socials with your bag of carrots, and we will add an extra night stay....simple as that!!

Things are tough at the moment with cost of living pressures, so it's just our way of trying to give people a break, without it costing you a fortune.

In addition, we will have two very happy camels who love getting selfies with our guests 🤳, so it's a win win :)

All the wildlife just hang out together on a beautiful Autumn evening.

These guys were just waiting for me to finish splashing around in the wildlife pond, before coming in for a well earned drink.

With no more channels, dams, and very few livestock troughs around the area anymore, places like this are gold for the native wildlife, especially when we have a heatwave like we are currently experiencing.

I do not understand why a chain of small waterholes all along these intermittent creeks and water courses are not kept full, now that we have a permanent supply of water via the pipeline which runs right next door. All of these intermittent waterways could then truly become permanent wildlife corridors.

That's what they promised us....more water for the environment.....with all of the water savings from converting an inefficient channel system to a pipeline.

Instead, it appears water is now more of a priority for rare earth mines and dust suppression for renewable energy projects. How times have changed. I guess that's what they call 'progress' :(
