What is your rainy day favourite meal ? Our family loves homemade chicken soup and dampers - simple, delicious and nutritious (plus minimal washing up ;-) )

🌿🦉 LOOK CLOSELY… CAN YOU SPOT HIM? 👀
Sometimes the best wildlife encounters at Kilkivan Bush Camping are the ones you almost completely miss!
We spotted this incredible Tawny Frogmouth perfectly camouflaged in a tree near one of our Safari Cabins. At first glance, he looks like nothing more than another branch — and that's exactly how he likes it. 🌳
One of the things we love most about our little patch of the bush is just how much birdlife and wildlife quietly shares it with us. 🦜🦘🐨
From the incredible variety of birdlife, to koalas tucked high in the gums, possums coming out after dark, wallabies hopping through at dusk, and all the little creatures you might never notice unless you stop and look.
Sometimes you can walk past the same tree half a dozen times without realising there's a Tawny Frogmouth sitting right above you!
The wildlife isn't always hiding somewhere deep in the bush…
Sometimes it's right beside you — you just have to slow down long enough to notice. 💚
And that's what Unplug & Reconnect is all about. 🌿

🌮 NEW ON THE MENU: LOADED NACHOS!

Crunchy Dorito corn chips loaded with chilli beef, homemade refried beans, crispy bacon and cheese, then baked in our pizza oven for that delicious crispy bite.

Topped with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, fresh toppings, jalapeños and a squeeze of lime. Made for sharing… if you want to. 😉
