🌟 CACHEFEST ’26 IS COMING TO KINGAROY! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Geocaching Queensland and geocachers from near and far to Kingaroy for a huge weekend of caching, catch-ups and community! 🥜📍

📅 3–5 October 2026

The Kingaroy Showgrounds will be home to several CacheFest ’26 events throughout the weekend, with plenty happening across Kingaroy, Cherbourg and the South Burnett.

🏕️ Accommodation is still available!

Powered and unpowered sites are available at the Kingaroy Showgrounds Caravan Park, making us the perfect base for your CacheFest adventure.

When booking, let our friendly staff know you're part of the Geocaching group, and we’ll waive the usual two-night maximum stay for campers.

From **Friday 4th September 2026**, we will have a **NEW GATE SYSTEM** in place at the Kingaroy Showgrounds Caravan Park.

🚧 **GATE 4 – MAIN ENTRANCE**
❌ **CLOSED**

➡️ **GATE 5 – NEW MAIN ENTRANCE**
✅ Located **next to the shed**

When entering the showgrounds, **please follow the signs and directions** to help keep traffic moving smoothly and safely.

🚗➡️ **Please don’t use Gate 4 – head to Gate 5 instead!**

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE KINGAROY SHOWGROUNDS! 🚨

After months of intense negotiations with the gardens and several strongly worded tweets from the local birds... water has finally been put on tap! 😂🐦🌿

A massive thank you to Mickael and Kylee for installing our new watering system. Thanks to their hard work:

- 🌱 The plants have cancelled their funeral.
- 🐦 The birds have renewed their lease.
- 🚿 The hoses have officially been made redundant.
- 💪 Management has one less excuse to "just quickly water the gardens!"

The Showgrounds are looking greener already, and our feathered residents are giving it five chirps out of five. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🐦

Thanks, Mickael and Kylee, for all the hard work, laughs, and effort you put into making the Kingaroy Showgrounds an even better place. You two are absolute legends! 💙👏

We're excited to unveil our fresh new signs for both the Kingaroy Showgrounds Caravan Park and the Kingaroy Show! From easy-to-follow directional signs to a refreshed entrance and office signage, it's now even easier for visitors to find us and see what we have to offer.
