Hello Everyone,

Just letting you all know that the Kingsthorpe Hotel Motel will be creating a new page. I will share the link here. We would love your continued support as it means a lot. The page will share pub updates, new menu, and up coming events. We look forward to seeing you all in this new chapter of the 'Kingy pub'. Thankyou.

Renee (Yes I am still here 🀣)

One more little note from me.

The pub page will be changing to.
KINGSTHORPE HOTEL MOTEL
Lin and Paul are the new owners πŸ™‚
So make sure you follow the page.

Renee and the rest of the staff will still be in residence so make sure you call in and say hi.

I am sure there will be changes as there always are but I am also sure It will still be THE KINGY or whatever each of you referred to it as. And the beer will still be as cold πŸ™‚.

It’s been great. Once again - thank you.

Lynne

Well the time has come for me to leave Kingsthorpe. Mixed emotions I must say. Definitely looking forward to retirement, spending time with family and friends(especially grand children) being able to just sit down and read a book if I so desire and go fishing😊
Will definitely miss some aspects of pub life and I think the nights may be a little quiet for awhile ( might have to go to a pub)πŸ˜‚
Thank you to all who have become my friends over the 21 years. I have met some wonderful people and have had some great conversations
With strangers and locals alike.
Steve and I have travelled everywhere Australia and overseas -work related of course 😊- and had great times. Perhaps I could have spent the money elsewhere but really I am glad I didn’t. It was wonderful seeing some of the world. Everyone should do it if they can!!!!
Thank you to everyone from Steve for your friendship, all the games of pool and of course talking about his passion- horses. His struggle with Parkinson’s is getting a little challenging but there is no stopping him. 😊 his passion for fishing will now take over I am sure
So the end of this time is near - leaving after lunch today - for our next adventure. Hopefully a bit of travel and relaxation.
Thank you for your patronage and I hope you all continue to support the pub and the new owners
Lin and Paul. The current staff are staying so make sure you call in. Of course there will probably be changes but not too much immediately.
Thank you thank you thank you for a pretty wonderful 21 and a bit years
Lynne and Steve 😊😊
