Love the outdoors and looking for somewhere to settle down and work for a few months?
We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our team at The Gutter Bar in Kooringal, Moreton Island. We’d especially love to hear from couples travelling together with their own 4WD who are ready to make island life their home!
🍽️ THE JOB
This is a hands-on, all-rounder role. You’ll be taking orders, serving food and drinks, helping in the kitchen and looking after our customers.
The role also includes housekeeping at the Airbnb properties we manage, general cleaning, gardening and practical tasks around the property. Everyone pitches in wherever help is needed.
We can go from a quiet morning to a group of 40 arriving in no time, so teamwork, flexibility and a positive attitude are essential! Previous hospitality experience is helpful, but you don’t need to know every task already — we’ll train you.
👋 WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need to be comfortable communicating in English, reliable, willing to take initiative and happy to help across different tasks. You must have the right to work in Australia and an RSA certificate valid in Queensland for the role.
