A wet but welcomed start to the 2026 Trout opening season here in Licola this morning, rain started early hours of this morning and hasn’t stopped since ,very few Fisherman about as were the fish, well at least for me, after losing one fish then bird nesting my line, saw my mornings fishing cut short. For others… if I’m going to get wet I may as do it properly, good luck to those trying there luck today 🤞

Meet Opal & Hartlet today’s horses trialing our new addition ( Camp with your Horse ) to the already established Cobbview Campsite in Licola, bit of learning for me, including the need to wash your Horse down after the ride ! and I thought it was only Motorbikes that needed a hose off 🤣 🤷‍♂️ some minor additions to come in this space 💦. Was a warm Spring day up here making conditions perfect for a ride, horses worked up quite a sweat. Couple of Snake sightings and even a few Deer were seen running from the Horses. Some live footage to come on our instagram page but for now a few pics from today including your facilities at the Campsite. all enquiries get in touch via messenger, phone or email.

Tomorrow we host our first Horses ( with there owners 🤣 ) at Cobbview Campsite Licola , they will trial and showcase all the hard work that has Been put into making Camp with your Horse possible, stay tuned for tomorrows journey, fingers crossed all goes well 🤞
