The Pit Food Van have just announced that they are adding some new menu options to their line up for this season. 🤤 🤩

Our food vendors will be returning just in time for the October school holidays and we are very much looking forward to their return.

We have our school holiday special also coming up... If you are a family with school aged children and book for 4 nights during the October school holidays you will only pay for 3 nights with your 4th night free.

Officially it is the first day of Spring tomorrow and our high season kicks off. We are very excited to welcome back all of our campers who hibernate during the winter months.

We do have our October School Holiday special running for families with school aged children. Stay 4 nights but only pay for 3 and we still have available sites to choose from between 2nd October - 18th October.

One of our camping families, that many of our regulars will have come to know, love and respect over the many years that they have been camping with us here at River's Edge, are going through a pretty tough time right now. If anyone can chip in a $$ or two to help this family get through the next few months so that they don't have to worry about the mundane stuff in life, we know that Brad, Lauren, Damian and Ellie will be eternally grateful.

October School Holidays - Stay for 4 nights, pay for 3.

Make the most out of the upcoming October School Holidays by adding a 4th night to your stay at no additional cost. Stay for 4 nights, and you will only pay for 3 nights with your 4th night being free of charge - applies to the October School holidays only (2nd - 18th October 2026 inclusive and applies to families with school aged children).

Today is absolutely magical in the campground, the sites are looking fabulous and we can smell spring in the air. We still have fantastic sites right throughout September and into the October School holidays.

It won't be long and the warmer months will be here and you could also be relaxing in the river just like this. 😍

We know times are a bit tough for many families at the moment. If you have an upcoming booking this coming season or planning on making a booking and would like to budget for it by paying a bit here and there towards camping fees in the lead up to your booking, you can get in touch and ask about our pre pay option. No admin fees and if you needed to cancel your booking we will refund back to you any upfront payment. It can be as little as $5 p/week - just what ever suits individuals and we will keep track for you.

A little mid winter update for you all.

All premium powered sites on the river will not be accessible during the month of August - we are giving these sites a bit of R&R and sowing down some grass seed in preparation for the high season. We will have limited standard powered sites still available in August, but they are very limited.

We know schools have just returned for the new term today, but that only means that you are all probably thinking about what you will be doing for the next school holidays. We still have plenty of great sites available for the October school holidays but get in quick if you have a favourite site as they are filling fast. Our fabulous food vendors will also be back for those school holidays, and we can't wait.

If you live locally to River's Edge and looking for a bit of casual work, we are looking for a reliable casual cleaner with attention to detail to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from October through to the end of April. For more info or to express interest, give us a call. 😊

The long weekend is nearly here. We have The Pit Food Van trading Friday to Monday and Red Coral Food Van trading from Saturday morning until Monday morning.

The weather is looking pretty good for the weekend too, so it should be a great few days for those coming down camping.

We have had a couple of lovely large unpowered sites become available for the weekend, and we still have a few sites remaining in our overflow area.
