NEXT STEPS TO OUR PROJECT… 🎨

We are now moving into the cosmetic stage of our project, and it’s all starting to come together!

Alan has started the painting, and inside, everything is now fully insulated to keep you warm and snug. 🥰

It’s getting more exciting by the day as we watch our vision slowly become a reality.

TIME OUT DISTRACTION 💅

We all need a little break from time to time. ❤️

I usually look for something that I can do just for ME. Something that becomes a distraction from everything else, while also giving me a little time to myself.

It doesn’t have to be anything big or extravagant. Sometimes it’s simply sitting down and painting my nails. 💅

For those few moments, I’m not thinking about what needs to be done, what’s next on the list, or who needs me.

It’s just ME TIME. ❤️

And you know what? We all deserve a little of that.

So, when was the last time you did something just for YOU? 🌿💅❤️

ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT ✋️

To be patient is to understand that everything doesn’t simply fall into place because that’s what we want. Some things take time… and that’s okay. ❤️

Our project is coming along nicely, and Alan is taking great patience to make sure everything fits together precisely. He loves perfection, and perfection certainly takes patience!

As I can’t help with the physical part of this project, I wait patiently and watch it all come together. 😊

Thankfully, Alan still finds time to stop work and create a great cocktail 🍹 so we can sit back, admire the day’s work and enjoy what we are creating together.

Good things take time… and they’re even better when you can enjoy them together. ❤️

BIRD FLU 😥 — NOT IN EDEN 🌿🌿

It is so disheartening to see our precious wildlife being affected by this horrible disease. 💔

However, here in our little Garden of Eden, we were overjoyed when we heard the familiar sound of the Carnaby Black-Cockatoos flying in, making their way to their favourite trees here on our property. 🖤💛

It wasn't long before they settled in and felt comfortable enough to feed, despite all the noise going on around them.

But the best was saved for last… 🥰

We watched in amazement as the adults regurgitated their food and fed their baby. What a privilege to witness such a precious moment of nature right here in our own backyard. 🌿🦜❤️

Where nature comes to visit… and sometimes brings the whole family! 🌿🌿

WHERE ARE WE NOW.....🤔

The work has begun. Reality has kicked in! 😮‍💨🔨

Alan knows all about hard work. He built our home and our B&B, and the amazed looks we get from everyone who visits us are a constant reminder of just how talented and creative he truly is.

So, as this new project starts to take shape, we’re really looking forward to seeing those same looks again — and hearing those “Oohs” and “Wows!” 😍

But even we need a break! 🥂

It was lovely to just sit back, appreciate the day, enjoy a preferred beverage and a few nibbles, and take a moment to reflect on what we’ve started.

The work has begun… and there’s plenty more to come.
