⚡ GIG ANNOUNCEMENT ⚡ RIVER RUMBLE
There’s a rumble brewing down at The River this November, with two South West artists coming together for a Friday night of gritty blues, roots and rock ‘n’ roll.
RIVER RUMBLE is a celebration of original music, bringing together two distinctive artists with their own stories to tell, plenty of grit and a whole lot of soul.
LIGHTNIN JACK returns to The River with drummer Blake Hart for a raw, hard-hitting duo show. With Jack’s gravel-soaked vocals, dirty guitar riffs and unmistakable blues swagger backed by Blake’s driving rhythms, these two make a hell of a lot of noise for a duo.
Winner of the 2025 Rick Steele Blues Artist of the Year award, Jack continues to carve out his own brand of blues, country and roots rock. His latest album Tone River captures that sound in all its gritty, groove-laden glory.
Opening the night is BETH CHIA, performing solo. With powerful, soulful vocals and a sound that moves between blues, roots, folk and grunge, Beth brings her own distinctive edge to the stage. Her music shifts between haunting, stripped-back moments and raw, defiant energy.
