Southend Hotel (formally the Sands Hotel) is located in the South Maroubra Shopping Village. Duck in for a sneaky drink on your way to the supermarket, or settle in for a long Sunday arvo with the kids in our dedicated family room (opening soon). Dine in our bistro, sit up at our bar and chat to our bartenders, or stay in one of our 15 family-sized motel rooms. Parking is free and plentiful, and it's only a 5 minute walk to the world-famous Maroubra Beach. We have live music on Wednesdays (Irish trad session), Saturdays (Irish band) and Sundays (covers), and we serve the best Guinness in town. Southend is everyone's favourite local pub.

We’re ridiculously proud to be crowned one of Sydney’s best trivia nights. Our resident trivia host Mr. Chris has worked hard to make our trivia night one for the ages.

Join us every Thursday from 7pm for an evening of quizzical hilarity.
